A manless Bofoakwa Tano side managed to hold Bechem United to a stalemate in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League match-week ten fixture on Sunday afternoon.
The Sunyani based club frustrated Bechem United to drop points at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park when they held the Hunters to a 1-1 draw.
The opening minutes of the game was dominated by Bechem United which resulted in Augustine Okrah opening the scoring with a fine strike in the 6th minute of the game.
Bofoakwa Tano warmed up into the game to restore the parity through a powerful header from Steven Owusu Kaakyire in the 10th minute.
Bechem United created most of the goal glaring opportunities but goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi's heroics rescued the visitors from conceding as the first half ended in a one-all draw.
Bechem United continued their dominance with the hopes of getting the match-winner but the back line of the visitors stood resolute from the inroads.
Bofoakwa Tano were reduced to ten men when Emmanuel Ankrah was shown a straight red card in the 66th minute of the game.
Despite being manless, Bofoakwa Tano held on to share spoils with Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour in the regional derby.
