Bibiani Gold Stars failed to pull off a victory over the GPL returnees as they were held to a goalless draw at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Saturday afternoon.
Frimpong Manso never rotated his squad, although he almost paid the price as both teams battled to the end of an entertaining clash which was packed with chances and end-to-end football prowess showing.
Bofo, who maintained their perfect start with the scoreless result, were unable to condemn Gold Stars to their third defeat in their opening five GPL fixtures, as they left them dangling on the fifth pecking on the table with seven points.
The Sunyani-based club find themselves hovering top of the log with nine points, two points above the other five teams trailing them closely.
