Legon Cities produced a stellar performance in the ongoing league this afternoon when they expertly humbled in-form relegation trotters - Kotoku Royals 2-0 at the El-Wak Stadium in Accra.
The hosts took charge of the game and dictated the pace as Michel Otou scored twice (54th and 90+2 minutes) as they did not give Kotoku a dog’s chance to even get a draw as they exit the capital with a 2-0 defeat.
Cities have added some fire to their mission of staying in the league and they look little safe from their current 14th spot on the log with 31 points.
Kotoku, on the the other hand needed the three maximum points badly to cushion their survival in the league but ended up losing everything as they still lay bottom (18th) with 21 points.
