Medeama Sporting Club's head coach, Augustine Evans Adotey, acknowledges the challenging task his team faces this season, competing in three different competitions.
As the reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League, the Yellow and Mauve squad is not only representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League but must also contend for domestic honors in the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup.
In anticipation of Week 6 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, Coach Augustine Evans Adotey emphasized the need to approach these competitions one step at a time.
"I keep asking myself questions as to how to go about managing the three competitions, but as a coach, we need to approach the situation one step at a time. Currently, our focus is solely on the Betpawa League,” the gaffer said.
In the CAF Champions League, Medeama Sporting Club finds themselves in a challenging group, facing record holders Al Ahly, Algerian champions CR Belouizdad, and Yanga FC of Tanzania. Progressing to the knockout stage in such a group will be a considerable feat for the Ghanaian club.
