Medeama SC head coach Nebojsa Kapor has expressed his frustration over the club’s recent three-game winless run in the Ghana Premier League, describing it as "unacceptable."
The Yellow and Mauves were defeated 2-0 by Bechem United last weekend and managed goalless draws against both Heart of Lions and FC Samartex in their previous matches. This dip in form follows a strong start to the season, where Medeama won their first three games and briefly topped the league table.
Kapor’s team is preparing to host Nations FC at the TNA Sports Stadium on Sunday for match week seven, and the coach is concerned about his squad’s performance going into the fixture.
"I am really, and all of us are aware, that we cannot accept this. We played three matches—two at home and one away—and we didn't win any match; we didn't score, and this is something that we cannot accept," Kapor said.
He further added, "I am also deep in discussions with the players on how we can improve and fix some of the issues we’re facing in upcoming games."
Medeama currently sits third on the league table with 11 points, just one point shy of the top spot.
