The Ghana Premier League Goalkeeper of the Month award for March has been announced by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), with Medeama SC's Felix Kyei emerging as the winner.

The GFA stated in an official communique on Monday that Kyei defeated three other shot-stoppers, namely Joseph Baah of Gold Stars, Obeng Sekyere Gregory of Berekum Chelsea, and Benjamin Asiedu Kwesi of King Faisal Football club, to clinch the award.

Kyei, who joined Medeama SC during the 2022/23 second transfer window, kept four clean sheets in six matches and conceded only two goals, leading to his selection for the award.

This is Kyei's first win of the award this season, with previous winners including Bawa Lord Martey, Lawrence Ansah, and Cisse Tijani.

As part of his prize, Kyei will receive a Goalkeeper's glove and a customized jersey from the Retired National Goalkeepers Association of Ghana.
