Ghanaian champions, Medeama SC have announced giants Nguvu Mining Limited as their new headline sponsors from now henceforth.
The Tarkwa-based were with another mining company GoldFields Ghana Limited as their principal sponsors but had their contract terminated by the company with the reasons still unknown as of now, with Member of Parliament for Tarkwa, Hon. George Mireku Duker hoping for a turnaround with that decision.
The details of the contract between both parties hasn't been revealed yet and will all be made public at the press conference on Friday, October 6, 2023 in the capital, Accra.
However, according to a report from a deep throat source, the Mauves and Yellows could earn almost $400,000 from the deal annually.
Medeama SC have currently qualified to the group stage of the CAF Champions League for the first time in their history- wrapping it up over the weekend with a 4-3 on aggregate win over Guinean giants Horoya AC.
They await the draw which will be held this Friday and have been placed in pot four and will face one of Al Ahly, Wydad AC, Esperance de Tunis and Mamelodi Sundowns- who are all in pot one.
