Head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Arnyas Tanko is very satisfied with the draw away at Aduana Stars - something he believes it’s very difficult to accomplish but feels they were unlucky with the late free kick.
The Mauves and Yellows exhibited a top tier display to hold the ‘Ogya’ lads to a pulsating goalless draw at the NAB I Park in definitely one of the top fixtures of match-day 9 of the Ghana Premier League.
The game was really a very fascinating one and produced everything except goals as Medeama SC were unlucky to have had their late free kick gone off the upright.
The Fire Boys were also threatening and pushed in some few occasions where goalkeeper Felix Kyei had to come in at certain moments with big saves to rescue the situation for his side.
In a post-match presser, the experienced gaffer was very much satisfied with the outcome of the game:
“I think we did very well. My team dominated from the first minute to the last, and it’s very unfortunate that the last free kick didn’t go in. But I’m very satisfied with the performance of my team today. Coming to Aduana and taking a point is very, very good for us,” Tanko said.
Medeama SC despite failing to pick maximum points remain in second place on the table with 18 points and will travel to Eleven Wonders next
