Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC on Thursday visited their headline sponsor, Goldfields Ghana Limited to present the club's silver medal won in the recently ended Ghana Premier League season.

Medeama SC had an incredible campaign in the just ended season after amassing 56 points to finish second place on the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League table.

 
Medeama's delegation led by the club's president, Mr. Moses Armah presented the Ghana Premier League silver medal to the Acting Vice President of Goldfields West Africa, Mr Joshua Mortoti at the Goldfields Corporate Office in Accra.
 
Also, Medeama SC captain and Administrator, Joseph Tetteh Zutah, former CEO, James Essilfie who is now a Board member and outstanding communication director were in attendance.
 
Mr. Armah expressed his gratitude to Goldfields for their immense support to the club in the last two years and also attributed the second spot finish to the financial support from their headline sponsors, Goldfields Ghana Limited.
 
Acting vice president of Goldfields West Africa, Mr. Joshua Mortoti, who contentedly received the Medeama delegation, expressed the company's gratitude to the club for their achievements and urged the team to fight for the Ghana Premier League title next season.
 
Goldfields Ghana Limited signed a multi-year headline sponsorship deal worth $150,000 annually with Medeama SC in 2020.
 
The company is already constructing $13 million ultramodern 12,000 all-seater capacity stadium (T&A Stadium) for Medeama which expected to be opened next year.
