Reigning Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC have announced the signing of former West African Football Academy SC (WAFA) centre-forward Daniel Lomotey until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Lomotey has joined the Tarkwa based outfit on a two-year contract on a free transfer after passing a mandatory medical examination.

He has officially signed a two-year contract with Medeama SC after leaving Algerian giants ES Setif in 2022.

The club's official statement reads “We are delighted to announce the signing of former Ghana Under-20 striker Daniel Adzigodi Lomotey Agbloe on a permanent contract.”

He is expected to be key for the Yellow and Mauves as they compete in the CAF Champions League, Ghana Premier League and FA Cup competition this season.

Lomotey is remembered for scoring FOUR GOALS for WAFA against Medeama in a nine-goal thriller win in the Ghana Premier League in January 2021.

Lomotey is currently in Cape Coast to join the team to continue their preparations for the 2023/24 season.
