Medeama Sporting Club, the Ghanaian champions, is set to unveil their new stadium in preparation for their participation in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League.

Medeama secured a spot in the group stage of the competition by defeating Guinean side Horoya in two games last month, with a 4-3 aggregate victory.

During the qualifiers, Medeama played their home games at the Cape Coast Stadium due to ongoing construction at their own facility.

Addressing the press on Monday, George Mireku Duker, Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem, revealed that the team intends to inaugurate their 10,000-seater stadium by the end of November.

"We will be commissioning our stadium also by November ending and we are using this platform to invite you to Tarkwa," he said.

"By the grace of God, we shall play our first match of the group stage in Tarkwa."
