Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Kyei Dwamena expressed his frustration after being sidelined with an injury, but now he's back and ready for action.
The former WAFA captain was out for a month due to an injury sustained while playing against Karela United.
Despite the setback, Dwamena has returned to training and is available for selection ahead of Kotoko's clash with Legon Cities this weekend.
Reflecting on his recovery, Dwamena acknowledged the support of the medical team and expressed gratitude for their efforts. With determination to regain his full form, he is eager to contribute to the team's success on the pitch.
“It’s bitter to play and all of a sudden you go off. I felt very bad after picking up an injury but God being so good, the recovery was well and everything went well for me”
“I will thank the medical team for the good job done. They worked hard to get me fit. I’m hoping to get the full me as am about to start playing”
“Coming back from a month injury, I think there will be some kind of fear. I’m happy to be back to do what I’m good at” he told the club’s media.
As Asante Kotoko prepares to host Legon Cities in matchday 29 of the Ghana Premier League campaign, Dwamena's return provides a boost to the squad.
