Michael Osei- Bibiani Goldstars coach has revealed his target for the season after draw with Berekum Chelsea last Saturday.
The Miners stretched the Bibires to a goalless draw at the Golden City Park in GPL match-week 10.
The encounter was really a very tedious one for both sides. It produced everything on the day with the exception of goals which eluded both teams till full time.
In a post-game interview, the ex- Kotoko gaffer didn't really delve into the game but outlined his substantive target for season which is to finish above their 9th-place finish in the last campaign. He said
"I am expecting to do better than last season. We were in the 9th position. Any position in front of that will be fine.”
They are now sitting 3rd with 17 points on the log, and will host current leaders Aduana Stars at the Dun's Park this Sunday, January 8, 2023.
