Bank-roller of Medeama SC, Moses Armah Parker has heaped praises on his team following their stupendous first round performance in the Ghana Premier League but added the entire squad are very much aware they will have to put it extra efforts in the second phrase to win the ultimate.
The Mauve and Yellows have been flying higher this season and are currently on course to achieve the double.
They are currently on a fourteen game unbeaten run and finished the first phase of the campaign on the summit of the league with 34 points and have also cruised into the round of 16 with a 3-1 win over Bibiani GoldStars last Wednesday.
With all these still at stake, Moses Parker has stated the coaches and players are very much aware and determined to continue working extra harder to relive the club’s second league title.
He further appealed to their supporters to continue rallying behind the team to help them achieve the ultimate
“There is more room for improvement. We are not yet a finished article and we have a lot of work to do in the second round.”
“The boys are aware of what is at stake, so we will continue to take it one match after the other. The second round is always the most difficult part of the campaign, and we have to stay grounded and not get carried away,” he added.
“We are far from reaching our ultimate goal, and I urge our fans to continue with their prayers and support for the team.”
Medeama SC will kickstart the second round against Young Apostles this weekend.
