Hearts of Oak coach, Aboubakar Ouattara has revealed that his topmost target is to win the Ghana Premier League with the Phobians despite their slump in performance against sworn-rivals Asante Kotoko.
Ouattara's meliorism rolled out after the Rainbow boys succumbed to a 1-0 loss to the Porcupine Warriors over the weekend.
After the game during his post-match press conference, Ouattara did not mince words as he laid bare his aspiration for the capital side.
“I don't, I can't come and ask somebody his view before I do something. All the 18 clubs need to take the league. All the 18 clubs," he retorted.
“No any coach in this game, in this league, can tell you you don't need the league. You don't have any club to tell you you need the league. We have played just 13 matches.
“You are taking your quick conclusion. We are playing just 13 matches. After the 34 matches, my plan is not to stay in the Premier League. We need one ultimate. So the plan is to win the league.”
The defeat saw Hearts of Oak fall back to seventh on 19 points, while Kotoko climbed to sixth with twenty-one points.
