Moses Armah Parker, the President of Medeama SC, has attributed his club's triumphant performance in the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League to the unwavering support of his spouse, Rose Linnet Osei Bonsu, who also holds the position of vice president within the club.
Medeama SC, based in Tarkwa, celebrated their first-ever betPawa Premier League title on Sunday, June 11, with a dominant 3-0 victory over relegated Tamale City at the Akoon Park.
In an interview with Max TV, the accomplished football administrator expressed profound gratitude to his wife for her invaluable contributions throughout the rigorous nine-month league campaign.
"Today, I want to reveal something that people may not know. My wife has been one of the strong pillars and the backbone of our success at Medeama. In fact, she is the key brain behind our operational activities behind the scenes," he shared.
Following their remarkable league triumph, Medeama SC will now have the opportunity to participate in the highly anticipated 2023/24 CAF Champions League, marking their third appearance in continental competition. Their previous ventures included notable appearances in the CAF Confederations Cup in 2013 and 2015.
