Management of Asante Kotoko SC led by CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah, have finally presented their league trophy to the club's Board of Directors earlier today in a very stunning fashion.
The Porcupine Warriors ended their almost seven year league abeyance after winning the just ended 2021/22 Ghana Premier League following their stellar display throughout the campaign.
Having won the league, the team paid homage to all their sponsors by touring their respective headquarters with the league trophy to express gratitude to them for their unending supports.
However, it was the turn of the club's Board of Directors who also had their part of the visit today, in an event which saw Nana Yaw Amponsah and Dr. Kwame Kyei pose with the trophy for a picture including the other members, clearing out the hullabaloo that, the two are seriously not in good terms.
Asante Kotoko after winning the league, are hoping for an improved performance next season to defend their title and also sail through to the money zone of the CAF Champions League.
The team is currently in the capital for preseason and will depart for Turkey very soon to continue with their training tour to get them adequately prepared for the new season.
