Ghana Premier League side, Nations FC have resumed pre-season earlier this morning in Abrankese ahead of the 2024/25 football season. 

The Eagles had a very decent campaign in their debut topflight season and managed a seventh-place finish with forty-nine points- picking fourteen wins, seven draws and thirteen loses in thirty-four matches. 

The Sky Blues are looking to improve and strengthen their squad ahead of the new season as they look to deliver an improved performance compared to what they had in their first.

Coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle has made six signings so far; Michael Abrokwa, Andrews Cobbinah, Yussif Alhassan Chibsah, William Apenteng, youngster Mashud Abdela and Ivorian international Bi Boris Djangone and will definitely make some few more additions before the transfer window shuts down.

However, they resumed the pre-season without players like Asamoah Boateng Afriyie and Michael Awuah Mensah- who have all joined Hearts of Oak, Emmanuel Agyemang, who has been loaned out to Lithuanian fold FK Babrungas and goalkeeper Japhet Norvienyo.

Nations FC's first day from the long break begun this morning with all players including the new captures present and engaged in some gym exercises looking to build themselves physically before getting onto the pitch for ball works and other activities.

Subsequent intensive training sessions will continue from now henceforth including high-profile friendly matches to constantly test themselves ahead of the new season.

They will host Bechem United to the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in their opening fixture of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League on September 6.
