Nations FC coach Kassim Mingle has called for a different referee to officiate their match against Asante Kotoko in Abrankese this weekend.

This comes following Latif Qadri's controversial officiating in their match-week 4 game against Legon Cities where they posted a 1-1 draw stalemate.

Ahead of their Sunday's match-week 6 clash against the Porcupine Warriors, Mingle did not mince words as he called out the Ghana FA's referees appointment committee to immediately change the referee they have designated for the game.

"I will be pleased if Latif Qadri is replaced as the referee for our game against Asante Kotoko because of the way he managed our match against Legon Cities. I was dissatisfied with it," Mingle said in an interview with Rainbow Sports.

"I was not the only one who raised issues about his refereeing during that match because almost everyone, especially the journalists who attended, voiced similar concerns," he added.

Latif Qadri will be assisted by assistant referees Emmanuel Dolangbanu and Gabriel Boateng for the match-week 6 fixture at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.
