Nations FC have expressed strong interest in signing former Asante Kotoko captain Justice Blay and pushing harder to finalize the move in the ongoing second transfer window.
The diminutive midfielder has been out of action since leaving Asante Kotoko prior to the commencement of the ongoing campaign and is set to return to competitive football very soon.
Blay was in the United States recently but has reportedly returned in the country and is currently in the capital, Accra holding individual training programs to discover his form and match fitness.
Exclusive reports surfacing in the media are that both parties have been in contact for a possible switch and in advanced stage with Blay also open to the move.
Coach Frimpong Manso sees him as the perfect replacement and even an upgrade for Prince Badu - who has left to join Asante Kotoko.
Nations FC have now dropped to the 13th position with 20 points and will resume the second round with a visit to Swedru All Blacks.
