Emmanuel Boahen has retained confidence in his Nations FC side's title hopes despite succumbing to a 1-0 loss at home against Berekum Chelsea.
The Bibires dangerman - Stephen Amankonah scored the only goal of the match to romp past their hosts and secure the three points as they exited the Ashanti Region with broad smiles.
However, the results means Kassim Mingle's side are now second with 22 points, just a point beneath leaders Bibiani Gold Stars who are leading with 23 points.
Boahene, speaking in an interview, spoke of his side's initial target, reiterating that their main goal of winning the league title still stands.
“Our objective is to win the Ghana Premier League at the end of the season. We are determined to grind results in our games to better our chances,” he said.
Boahene, a former player of Eleven Wonders has played three Ghana Premier League games for Nations this term, with no goals to his name.
