Ghana Premier League side Nations FC are set to name highly-rated Samuel Frimpong Manso as their new head coach, just days after sacking theirs in what they described as poor performance.
Out-gone coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle and his assistant Johnson Smith were all jettisoned over the weekend despite their 3-2 win over Eleven Wonders after a very sloppy start.
However, Frimpong Manso, who was just recently sacked by Bibiani GoldStars for the same reason is set to return and is already being lined up for a new role as Nations FC have reportedly reached agreement and are set to appoint him as their new gaffer.
He was recently in charge of the Miners where he took over two seasons ago and led them to a historic Ghana Premier League triumph last season but was shown the exit door after their defeat to JS Kabylie in the CAF Champions League.
Nations FC are expected to make the announcement official in the course of the week and are hoping the change of technical direction will bring a massive impact to the team and help them find their rhythm
