Newly acquired Congolese defender, Gilbalni O’Neil Ndongani Samba, says his main objective in joining Asante Kotoko is to achieve great things with the club.
The Congolese defender completed his move to the Porcupine Warriors on Thursday and is expected to play a huge role for the club in the upcoming season.
Speaking to the club’s media, Samba said winning laurels will be a priority as he made his first comments since joining Kotoko on Thursday.
“I want the supporters of the club to push me so I can give my best for the team. I’m here not to joke. I’m here to achieve something big with the club so I just want the fans to push me and I will let them enjoy” he said.
Samba has already begun training with Kotoko as the team intensifies their preparations for the Democracy Cup on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
Samba becomes the fourth signing of the Porcupine Warriors in the off-season, joining newly signed; Esmat Hassabalbagi, Yoouef Yagoub and Emmanuel Antwi.
