In a bid to rejuvenate struggling side Bibiani Goldstars in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, newly appointed coach Frimpong Manso insists that the team's past struggles cannot be attributed to former head coach Michael Osei.

Currently languishing in the relegation zone with 12 points from 13 games, Goldstars have faced two wins, six draws, and five defeats in the Ghanaian top-flight campaign.

Manso, entrusted with the task of turning the team's fortunes around, spoke to West Gold Radio, emphasizing that Osei should not be held responsible for circumstances beyond his control.

“I have engaged Michael Osei and it was something that was beyond his control, you cannot blame him for anything and there are a lot of things we’ve discussed” he said.

Manso, gearing up for his debut assignment against Samartex in Week 15 of the Ghana Premier League, revealed ongoing discussions and collaborative efforts to address the team's challenges.
