Contrary to earlier reports that stormed social media, Bechem United head coach Bismark Kobi Mensah hasn't been sacked as broken by Kumasi-based Akoma FM last Tuesday evening.

The enterprising gaffer joined the Hunters just three months ago as replacement for Kassim Mingle, that was after he had ended his short spell with Great Olympics.

Bechem United have been impressive for the past two years in the Ghanaian topflight and always secure a top four spot but is looking very different this time around following their poor and jittery start to the 2023/24 season.

They have just a win and appalling three loses from their opening four matches of the season.

The recent one being the 1-2 home loss to champions Medeama SC- an outcome that got the Bechem fans very agitated and strongly called for the jettisoning of the ex- Black Galaxies assistant gaffer.

Despite all these, a deep-throat source has revealed to your trusted sports hub Kickgh.com that, indeed there's so much pressure at the moment but Bismark Kobi Mensah is still at post at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park and has two matches to prove himself.

The poor start has left the 2016 FA Cup champions currently at the foot of the GPL table with just three points and will need to patch up all cracks as quick as possible to get their season back on track.

The enterprising tactician will have to start his redemption mission this weekend when they play as guests to Legon Cities FC in match-day five this Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the El-Wak Stadium.
