Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko has made a significant move in the transfer market by signing former Legon Cities midfielder, Samuel Tenadu on a three-year deal worth GHc180,000.

The 21-year-old defensive midfielder passed his mandatory medical on Wednesday and has officially joined the Porcupine Warriors.

Tenadu caught the eye with his impressive performances in the Ghana Premier League last season, making 30 appearances and helping his team avoid relegation. His displays earned him a move to Kotoko, where he will look to continue his growth as a player.

The Reds reached an agreement with Legon Cities on Tuesday evening to secure the signing of Tenadu. The transfer fee agreed upon is GHc180,000, with Legon Cities set to receive 35% of any future transfer fee and Kotoko getting 65%.

Tenadu becomes Kotoko’s 11th signing in the ongoing transfer window.
