Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have officially announced the capture of defender Emmanuel Kotei in the ongoing second transfer window.

The 26-year-old is joining the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year-deal after a fruitful negotiations between both parties.

The enterprising lateral is coming in highly recommended and is expected to fill the vacuum on the right side of defence in the second round.

He joined Nsoatreman FC early this year from Tamale City FC and has been very instrumental and impressive since his arrival at the Nana Koronmansah II stadium.

In the ongoing season, Kotei has started so well and has currently been tipped by bookmakers and pundits as one of the finest right backs in the league, having provided two assists so far in fifteen games.

Asante Kotoko finished the first round on a higher note and are hoping to patch up few cracks heading into the second phase of the season.
