Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have appointed Winfred Dormon as their new head coach ahead of the 2025/26 football season, the club announced on their various social media handles
Dormon, has been with the ‘Still Believe’ lads for over a decade now and knows a lot about the club which is why they feel it is the right time to hand him back the main job
He’s previously learned a lot having served as an assistant to coaches like Karim Zito, Vladislav Viric, Ignatius Osei Fosu and others, which has also added to his knowledge and understanding of the game
He won Dreams FC the Access Bank Division One League to qualify them into the country’s topflight and won the GHALCA Top 8 tournament in 2018
Dormon, stepped in as the stop-gap coach to guide Dreams FC to the end of last season following the exit of coach Karim Zito in the latter part
He is expected to lead the team’s preseason, get the players in a good shape and also help the new guys gel into the team very well before the upcoming season commences
