Your trusted sports hub, Kickgh.com reported to you two months ago that, highly rated goalkeeper Lord Bawa Martey has joined Dreams FC ahead of the 2022/23 season.
He has finally been unveiled today at the Theatre of Dreams Park on a free transfer after ending his stay with Elmina Sharks and the club official statement reads;
"We are pleased to announce the signing of experience goalkeeper Lord Bawa Martey."
The 25 year old joined the Sharks in 2019 from Proud United as replacement for Richard Attah- who had left to join Hearts of Oak, and has really established himself as one of the best netminders on the local scene.
The enterprising shot-stopper has been the first choice at the Ndoum Sports Complex since his arrival but really struggled recently to get much playing time recently especially last season due to injuries and others.
To command the first choice spot, Lord Bawa Martey will have to work extremely harder as he will face tougher competition from Solomon Agbasi and Augustine Koomson who were both outstanding in the just-finished campaign.
