Ghanaian champions FC Samartex have officially unveiled Christopher Ennin as their new head coach in the ongoing 2024/25 season, as reported earlier by your trusted sports hub Kickgh.com

The details of the contract hasn't been revealed yet but this is what an official statement on the club's official Facebook page reads;

"Chris is our man. We are delighted to confirm that Christopher Ennin has agreed to become the club’s new Head Coach."

Ennin steps in as replacement for Nurudeen Amadu - who stepped down from his post weeks ago having delivered the Timber Giants their first ever Ghana Premier League title last season.

The enterprising gaffer comes in with so much experience and exposure having previously worked with Berekum Chelsea and was subsequently linked with a move to giants Hearts of Oak earlier this year but the deal couldn't materialize.

His last job was at Premier League of Eswatini side Moneni Pirates where he took charge in the summer but decided to resign just recently to take up the vacant role at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.

FC Samartex haven't been really impressive leaving their title defense in jeopardy at the moment but are still working tirelessly to rediscover their form.

They are currently occupying the tenth spot on the league log with 17 points after 14 matches, 13 away from the top-spot.
