Bofoakwa Tano has confirmed the acquisition of former Hearts of Oak striker Benjamin Yorke.

The 27-year-old forward has joined the ranks of the Ghana Premier League returnees on a loan deal, just in time for the new season kick-off this weekend.

York is expected to play a crucial role for Bofoakwa as they embark on their first game of the season against Great Olympics in Accra.

The club made the announcement with a statement that read, "Benjamin Yorke has officially joined us on a season-long loan from Hearts of Oak. His dynamic presence in the forward line will be invaluable as we enter the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season. Welcome, York."

Prior to his move to Bofoakwa, York had notched five goals in 41 appearances in the topflight league while at Hearts of Oak.

He had previously plied his trade with FC Samartex 1996.
