Ghana Premier League giants, Hearts of Oak, have officially signed midfielder Collinson Theophilus from lower-tier side Tudu Mighty Jets. 

The club announced the acquisition on Thursday, August 29, with a warm welcome on their social media platforms: 

Collinson Theophilus is one of several new additions to the Hearts of Oak squad as they prepare for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

Other new signings include Ramzy Yussif, Mawuli Wayo, Hussein Mohammed, Kwabena Boateng, Isshak Saani Mohammed, and Yahaya Draman.

Theophilus will soon join his new teammates for preseason preparations. The team is currently on a tour in Togo, where they recently secured a 3-1 victory over Togolese side Semassi in a friendly match, with goals from Asamoah Boateng, Kwabena Boateng, and Isaac Frimpong. 

Hearts of Oak is set to face the Togo National U20 team on August 31st at the Stade Municipal de Lomé.
