Asante Kotoko have officially announced the signing of right-back Lord Amoah from Berekum Chelsea during the ongoing transfer window.
The Porcupine Warriors reached a full agreement with Berekum Chelsea for Amoah’s transfer a few days ago as they aim to bolster their defense ahead of the new season.
The 21-year-old arrived in Kumasi on Saturday for his medical examination and has signed a three-year contract after successfully passing his medical, keeping him at the club until 2027.
Amoah, who previously played for Benab FC, is expected to add strength and expertise to Kotoko's defense.
He impressed in the Ghana Premier League last season with Berekum Chelsea, making 29 appearances and providing four assists, contributing significantly to the team's third-place finish.
