Ghana Premier League heavyweights Asante Kotoko have announced the appointment of Orlando Wellington as the club's new assistant coach.
Management of Asante Kotoko have beefed up the club's technical team with the appointment of Wellington to become a deputy gaffer to Burkina Faso's Seydou Zerbo.
The club's official statement reads “We are delighted to welcome on board Coach ORLANDO WELLINGTON as first team assistant coach.”
Wellington has rich experience in the Ghana Premier League after guiding Berekum Chelsea to a historic feat in 2010 after ending the season as Premier League champions.
He was assistant to Sellas Tetteh when the Black Satellites won the 2009 Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Wellington has been unattached after leaving his role as head coach of Division One League side Wa Suntaa FC.
He previously had stints with former Ghana Premier League campaigners Heart of Lions.
