Interim gaffer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Michael Osei, has heaped praises on his defenders for the good work done on Yahaya Mohammed as they prevented him from causing a mayhem to his side in yesterday's encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The lethal forward, who currently leads the goal king chart with 14 goals to his mark in the ongoing GPL was silenced by the Porcupine Warriors back four liners as he could not hit the back of the net to add a tally to his goals in his quest to win the top scorer award.
Osei was very impressed about his charges display and has touted all the department of his side for the good job done in their clash.
"Actually, he (Yahaya Mohammed) is their danger man and my defenders did well to handle him during the game. But all the playing departments did a marvolous work on the day," he told the press.
"Again, our back four liners were superb in marking him and so he coudn't get any chances to override and score a goal in order to have cost us in the game. I'll congratulate my boys for the impressive showings they put up during the clash."
Asante Kotoko next league fixture will be against Hasaacas at the Essipong Stadium.
