Former Ghana international, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, has expressed his optimism that Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, will build a successful team for the country.

The ex-Udinese midfielder believes that Addo is bringing in the right players to help him succeed in his second stint as head coach.

Badu was pleased with how the team performed in their recent matches against Mali and the Central African Republic, and believes that they can build on the positives.

He also acknowledged that there are areas of improvement for the team, but is confident that Addo is experienced enough to address these issues.

"I think in his second coming, he said he's coming to build a team for Ghana. When he leaves, then he has a legacy,” Agyemang-Badu told Joy Sports.

"He's bringing in new good guys. There are a lot of lapses in the team. That one, we can’t run away from that. He's well experienced," Badu said in an interview with Joy Sports. "This is the second coming. He knows where he needs to beef up. We will support him."

Badu also revealed that he is a fan of Addo and believes that he will build a good team for Ghana.

"I mean, I'm a fan of him. Let me tell you that for a fact. I think he will build a good team for us," he said. "He should be very tough like how he is as usual. Take decisions that he thinks will help him and help the team. That's the most important thing."
