Tamale City assistant trainer, Hamza Mohammed reveals that their main target is to stay in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) beyond this season.
Tamale City qualified for the GPL after winning the three-way play-offs to replace Ashanti Gold in the top flight.
Tamale City lost their first game against Karela United last weekend by a-lone goal.
Hamza Mohammed says their main ambition is to survive relegation this season in the GPL.
"We have a target of helping Tamale City avoid relegation and that is our target for now," he said Union FM.
"Our ultimate target is to stay in the league and improve our standings. We want to play good football which will attract the fans to the stadium to watch our matches," he added.
Tamale City will host Legon Cities at the Tamale Aliu Mahama Stadium.
