Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Gold Stars, Akwasi Adu, has voiced strong confidence in his team's ability to clinch the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title, as they head into the final stretch of the season.
The optimism comes in the wake of Nsoatreman FC's suspension, which handed Gold Stars a default win and kept them firmly in the title race.
Looking ahead to a crucial showdown with Asante Kotoko on Sunday, May 25, Adu emphasized the importance of consistency in their remaining fixtures.
“Our mission is clear: win every match ahead of us. That’s the only way to remain in contention for the title,” he said.
Gold Stars suffered a surprising setback against Karela United recently, but Adu praised the response from the team and the technical staff led by head coach Frimpong Manso, highlighting the swift adjustments made in training and tactics.
Adu is confident that if Gold Stars win all their remaining matches—even if Kotoko do the same—they will still finish ahead, thanks to their current position and superior head-to-head advantage.
With just a few games to go, Gold Stars remain focused and determined to finish the season at the top of the table.
