Aduana Star's league winning ambitions has been thrown in limbo following their loss to Accra Lions last Saturday and head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin admits their opponents deserved the win.
The 'Ogya' lads got thumped on by the Lions by an emphatic 3-0 at the Ohene Gyan Stadium earlier today in match-week 31 of the ongoing GPL season
Baba Apiiga opened the scoring account from a free kick, Evans Botchway doubled the lead in the second half before red-hot Bassit Seidu sealed the win with a header in the last ten minutes.
The defeat means Medeama SC could leapfrog Aduana Stars from the top of the league should they beat Hearts of Oak.
In a post game interview with StarTimes, the experience gaffer is playing no blame games this time and credited their opponents for deserved victory.
“Well, to be honest we lost to a better side. They played better than us and we lost so we will see what happens.”
