Aduana Star's Paa Kwesi Fabin believes getting three points is the most important thing in every game but was not generally impressed with the performance of his lads today.

The 'Ogya' lads ensured their lead was intact with an important 1-0 win over Great Olympics on Saturday afternoon at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Crunchy tie it was with both sides given each other a great run for their money but Frank Owusu's 53rd minute cheap goal made the difference and that snatched all three maximum points for the host.

Aduana Stars have now opened a six points lead at the summit of the league with 47 points following Bechem United's defeat earlier today but Medeama SC could close up with a win on Sunday.

The ex- Black Starlets gaffer believes due to eagerness to win, his players were in a hurry and misplacing some chances hence wasn't really happy with their display but added the win is the most important thing.

"I'm not that much impressed. My boys wanted to win at all cost so they were rushing. I kept telling them they should just relax and play their normal game but they were too anxious."

"We lost so many chances, we could have won more than by just a goal but we will accept the three points."

Aduana Stars will be engaged in an epic clash next week when they play as guests to holders Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium in GPL week 27.
