Ghanaian champions Medeama SC have landed in Cairo, Egypt for the 2023/24 CAF Champions League group stage game against Al Ahly this weekend.
The Yellow and Mauves will be commencing their first-ever group stage of the Champions League campaign with the Egyptian giants at the Al Salam Stadium.
A contingent comprising of players, technical and management members as well as journalists touched down in Cairo on Wednesday evening for the crunchy fixture against the 11-time CAF Champions League title holders.

The team was handed a massive boost with the additional of Nurudeen Abdulai, Abdul Fatawu Hamidu and Jonathan Sowah, who joined the squad for the trip after international duties with the Black Stars camp for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.
The match is scheduled to be played at Al Salam Stadium on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
Medeama SC will later host Algerian side CR Belouizdad in the match-day two of Group D at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
