Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Goldstars, Kwasi Adu has denied that, their striker Prince Kwabena Owusu is not joining Asante Kotoko in the second round of the season as widely reported in the locak media over the weekend.

Speculations has it that, the player himself granted an interview on Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM to confirm the move having stated personal terms has been agreed already between both parties.

Contrary to that, Goldstars CEO Kwasi Adu has denied the news and disclosed it is only Hearts of Oak that have shown interest in their striker and not Kotoko and they have the final decision as to whether they will allow him move or not.

"Prince Kwabena Owusu is not moving anywhere for now. Between employer and employee who has that power? He can only move at the end of the season. He has served us quite well and we want to bless him before he leaves.

"Amongst the clubs who have shown interest and leading to sign him is Accra Hearts Oak.

"Of course Kotoko is huge and every player would want to play there but Tony the truth is that he can only leave at the end of season. Not now", he concluded

The 29-year-old has been outstanding since the Miners gained promotion into the topflight and is currently the club's captain.

The lanky forward has seven goal-involvements so far in 15 league matches, having scored six goals and provided one assist.
