Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is a relieved man after guiding the club to their first win in seven matches after stunning Samartex on Sunday.

Prior to the game, Kotoko had played seven matches in the Ghana top-flight without a win.

The Porcupine Warriors narrowly beat Samartex 1-0 at Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday afternoon thanks to a well-taken spot-kick from Enoch Morisson in the 61st minute of the clash.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum admits the pressure was almost unbearable.

"Once you win, you become okay. The game is all about winning, especially when coaching a team like Asante Kotoko; it doesn’t matter how beautifully you play, at the end of the day if you don’t play well and get the three points, that’s okay," said Ogum in his post-match interview.
