Asante Kotoko Head Coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, will return to the Adako Jachie training ground on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, following his recovery from a successful surgery five weeks ago.
During his absence, Assistant Coach David Dickson Ocloo assumed managerial responsibilities, leading the technical team to a 2-1 victory over Hearts of Oak in the inaugural Democracy Cup.
The squad assembled this morning at Adako Jachie to begin pre-season preparations for the upcoming season. The return of the Head Coach is a significant boost to the club as new players integrate and adapt to Dr. Ogum's comprehensive football philosophy.
Asante Kotoko will commence their 2024/2025 league campaign with an away match in Tamale, where they will face Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
