In a thrilling encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium, Gold Stars emerged victorious as the away team, with Mawuli Wayo's decisive goal in the 78th minute securing their first away win of the 2023/24 season.
Reflecting on the significant win, Manso highlights the team's progress and improvement throughout the campaign. "I think the team is improving because if you look at our last seven games, we’ve won four, drawn two and lost one... this being our first away win against Hearts of Oak in Accra no less, so it means a lot for the team," he affirms.
Currently positioned 11th on the Premier League standings with 32 points, Gold Stars are poised to build on their momentum as they prepare to face Karela United in their next fixture on Wednesday, April 10, at DUN's Park, aiming to continue their upward trajectory in the league standings.
