Highly-rated midfielder Appiah McCarthy is on the verge of joining Aduana Stars after ending his stay with AshantiGold SC, Kickgh.com can exclusively report.
The 26 year old has finally called it a quit after a sensational five years with the Miners, having always established himself as one of the best on the local scene and fans favourite in Obuasi.
He's been a Yaya Toure-esque since his debut in the Ghanaian topflight as he is able to distribute passes with a great vision, joins attack more often with incisive findings and is a great expertise when it comes to set pieces and dead balls.
However, the RC Anderlecht trialist was sidelined for almost the whole season due to his usual rampant injuries which saw him made only four appearances for the 'Aboa Kese3' outfit.
Appiah McCarthy has now ended his stay in Obuasi and speculations has it that, he's reached agreement with Aduana Stars and a deal is likely to be sealed very soon.
The 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season commences on September 9, 2022.
