Ghana Premier League side, King Faisal FC are in talks to appoint former Ebusua Dwarfs and AshantiGold SC gaffer Ernest Thompson Quartey as their new head coach, per reports in the local media.
The 'Insha Allah' lads are currently under the tutelage of Serbian coach Branko Brozovic who took over in the middle of last season after the exit of Nurudeen Amadu.
He managed to secure them survival last season after leading them to a 14th-placed finish with 42 points thanks to a final day precious 2-1 win over Legon Cities in Kumasi.
They started the 2022/23 GPL season on an appaling note, having lost 2-0 to Berekum Chelsea in their opening fixture last Monday in Dormaa.
However, Kumasi-based OTEC FM have reported that, Ernest Thompson Quartey is in line to step in as the new head coach of King Faisal with negotiations still ongoing between the two parties.
They will host Aduana Stars in their next league fixture on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
