Medeama SC are very close to announcing the signing of highly-rated goalkeeper Kofi Mensah in the ongoing extended transfer window.
The 26 year old has been with AshantiGold SC for the past two seasons and has really paid his dues in Obuasi since joining from lower-tier side Wa Sunta FC.
In the just ended campaign, he faced series of injuries which prevented him from seeing more appearances and subsequently lost his position to Dennis Votere.
Kickgh.com can reveal that, the ex- Ebusua Dwarfs goalie has reached agreement with the Mauves and Yellows, having signed a two year deal with them, with official announcement to be made very soon.
Medeama SC have jettisoned about seven players since the season was wrapped including experience goalie John Moosi and are really desperate to strengthen their goalkeeping department before the new season commences.
