Two Tanzanian heavyweights Young Africans and Azam FC have exhibited strong interest in signing Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Adom Frimpong.

The 26 year old had an outstanding campaign with Aduana Stars this season and made over 30 appearances in the league but unfortunately they missed out on the league title despite staying at the top of the table for a very long time.

The mercurial midfielder has so much experience and exposure having previously played for club like Asante Kotoko and also had some stints in Sweden.

Current Tanzanian champions Young Africans have per reports, began negotiations with Adom Frimpong and are willing to lure his service in the just-opened transfer window but will have to beat off competition from rivals Azam FC.

Yanga clinched domestic treble in the just ended Tanzanian football season but sadly lost the CAF Confederations Cup to Algerian side USM Alger and are hoping to beef up their team to compete even more stronger next season.
