Asante Kotoko captain, Richard Boadu has expressed his dissatisfaction over their draw with arc rivals Hearts of Oak in match-week 3 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

The Porcupine Warriors opened the scoring account in the early stages of the second half through center-back Yussif Mubarik who tapped in from a close range, nipping on a poor Richmond Ayi stop.

Having held their lead into the last four minutes to full time, Hearts of Oak equalised through Caleb Amankwah who connected a close range header from Suraj Seidu's free kick. 
 
The combative midfielder after the game, revealed how disappointed he and his teammates were for not picking all the maximum points but added they will work extremely harder in their subsequent matches to make it up to their supporters. 
 
"We really wanted to win this game to get the supporters back but we couldn't so we will have to go back and prepare for our subsequent matches."
 
"We don't struggle in communicating with our coach. We have a translator and our goalkeeper Moise Pouaty help translates whatever he says to us so communication hasn't been a problem to us." 
 
"There's no pressure on us, we like soldiers and ready for everything."

They will host newbies, Nsoatreman FC this Wednesday, September 28, at the Baba Yara Stadium in an outstanding fixture which was supposed to be their season opener.
